Streszczenie
DEFINICJA POJĘCIA: Przedsiębiorczość oznacza zdolność osoby do wcielania pomysłów w czyn. Obejmuje ona twórczość, innowacyjność i podejmowanie ryzyka, a także zdolność do planowania przedsięwzięć i prowadzenia ich dla osiągnięcia zamierzonych celów. Stanowi ona wsparcie dla wszystkich w codziennym życiu prywatnym i społecznym, zaś pracownikom pomaga uzyskać świadomość kontekstu ich pracy i zdolność wykorzystywania szans; jest podstawą bardziej konkretnych umiejętności i wiedzy potrzebnych osobom podejmującym przedsięwzięcia o charakterze społecznym lub komercyjnym.
ANALIZA HISTORYCZNA POJĘCIA: W opracowaniu ujęcie problemowe zintegrowano z analizą historyczną, gdyż obecny stan wiedzy naukowej w tym zakresie jest wynikiem rozwoju badań nad przedsiębiorczością, a wcześniej w dyskursie ekonomicznym wątki dotyczące przedsiębiorczości były czynione albo na marginesie szerszych rozważań, albo nie nadawano im większej atencji.
PROBLEMOWE UJĘCIE POJĘCIA: W ramach ujęcia problemowego artykuł omawia siedem funkcji przedsiębiorczości w naukach ekonomicznych, w tym cztery podstawowe funkcje – przedsiębiorczość jako funkcja osobowości, jako funkcja czynności menedżerskich, jako funkcja indywidualnego przedsiębiorcy, jako funkcja rynku oraz trzy funkcje pochodne – przedsiębiorczość funkcja sektora MŚP w gospodarce, funkcja samozatrudnienia oraz jako ekonomiczny czynnik produkcji.
REFLEKSJA SYSTEMATYCZNA Z WNIOSKAMI I REKOMENDACJAMI: W opracowaniu ukazano teoretyczne i metodologiczne ramy teorii przedsiębiorczości na pięciu poziomach analitycznych (mega, makro, mezo, mikro, nano).
